Amanjena is the first Aman resort in Africa. The property's design emulates old Moorish pisé (earthen) buildings and Berber villages that cling to the High Atlas Mountains, with its distinctive rose-blush walls mirroring those of the nearby ‘Red City’, Marrakech. Step through the handcrafted double oak doors into an oasis bedecked with palms and vines, colonnaded walkways, marble fountains and glittering glazed tiles. Fanning out from the central water pool are beautiful, Moroccan-style Pavilions (many with private pool and garden), traditional two-storey ‘townhouse’ Maisons and the spectacular Al-Hamra Maison, all enjoying the most glorious mountain views.
