Luxury Holidays in Kenya

A tailor made holiday in Kenya created by our Luxury Travel Specialists can be designed around exactly what you want to see and do. Whether this is your first visit to Africa or you are a seasoned safari traveller looking for a new perspective, our Luxury Travel Specialists can draw on their first-hand experiences to recommend the destinations, accommodation and experiences that best suit you. They will take the time to understand your preferences and hopes before creating a bespoke Kenya holiday itinerary, whether you have always dreamed of witnessing the Great Migration, want to spend time tracking big cats or simply want to experience the atmosphere of the African bush away from the crowds.

The Masai Mara remains one of the most celebrated destinations for safaris in Kenya, with its open grasslands providing an exceptional setting for wildlife observation. Depending on the season and location, game drives can reveal lions, leopards and cheetahs alongside elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos and numerous species of antelope. The reserve is also associated with the spectacular Great Migration, when vast herds of wildebeest and zebra move majestically through the wider Mara ecosystem. Your Luxury Travel Specialist at Elegant Resorts can advise on when and where to travel according to the experiences you are hoping to enjoy, helping to create a Kenya holiday that goes far beyond simply visiting the most famous locations.

The Big Five are naturally a major draw, with opportunities to see lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhinoceros during game drives and guided experiences being high on the wish list of many of our clients. However, one of the joys of a Kenya safari holiday is discovering the smaller and less celebrated inhabitants of the bush, from colourful birdlife and fascinating insects to graceful giraffes and playful young animals. With an experienced guide accompanying you, every game drive becomes an opportunity to learn more about Kenya's wildlife, landscapes and delicate ecosystems.

Where you stay is just as important a decision as where you go, and our portfolio of Kenya hotels and safari accommodation includes a variety of exceptional camps and lodges. Mahali Mzuri offers an intimate luxury tented experience in the Olare Motorogi Conservancy, providing an exclusive base for exploring the surrounding wilderness. Angama Mara occupies a spectacular position overlooking the Masai Mara, combining extraordinary views with elegant accommodation and unforgettable safari experiences. For a more intimate safari camp, Elewana Elephant Pepper Camp offers a traditional safari atmosphere within the Mara ecosystem, providing an immersive way to experience the sights and sounds of the African bush.

Your tailor made holiday in Kenya can also begin or end in Nairobi, giving you the opportunity to experience the country's vibrant capital city alongside its wilderness spaces. Hemingways Nairobi offers an elegant base from which to explore the city and provides a sophisticated contrast to the more remote safari camps and lodges. Depending on your itinerary, Nairobi can be combined with the Masai Mara or other wildlife destinations to create a varied tailor made holiday in Kenya, rather than simply following the routine set by a standalone city stay.

One of the great advantages of choosing a tailor made Kenya holiday is the freedom to combine different styles of accommodation and safari experiences. You might spend several nights in a magnificent city centre hotel before moving to an intimate tented camp, allowing you to experience different perspectives on Kenyan culture. If you are primarily focused on creating a tailor made safari holiday in Kenya, private conservancies can also provide more exclusive wildlife experiences, with opportunities for activities that complement traditional game drives depending on the location and accommodation chosen.

Our Luxury Travel Specialists can arrange every aspect of your journey for you, including the flights, accommodation, private airport transfers and the excursions and safari experiences you have chosen to be part of your tailor made Kenya holiday package. Whether you are searching for luxury Kenya safari holidays for a special occasion, a family adventure or an unforgettable city centre holiday in Kenya, your itinerary can be shaped entirely around your interests and expectations.
