One of Mauritius' most impeccable retreats, One&Only Le Saint Géran has recently welcomed its guests back after a temporary six-month period of restricted reservations. Following its exceptional enhancements - including the new Guerlain Spa and a fully replenished two-kilometre beach - the resort unveiled a suite of new stylish activities and facilities to its most esteemed guests on October 16, 2024.
One&Only Le Saint Géran opened in 1975, with a prime spot at the northern tip of the renowned Belle Mare coastline. Having its own private peninsula, this is undoubtedly a luxurious stay and a beloved choice for many holidaymakers with a taste for the sophisticated. These new updates, which coincide with the resort's 49th anniversary, prove that One&Only Le Saint Géran will continue to improve and ensure that their guests are always enjoying the very best of the island.
You can find out more about One&Only Le Saint Géran's enhancements below, featuring some exclusives from our team who just returned from visiting.
What's New at One&Only Le Saint Géran
The Brand-New Guerlain Spa
The most anticipated of One&Only Le Saint Géran's updates is the new Guerlain Spa. The French beauty experts have partnered with the Mauritius hotel to offer highly personalised and highly luxurious treatments. While doing so, they also draw inspiration from local influences.
As the only Guerlain Spa in Mauritius, the space is an oasis of exceptional pampering whilst ensuring that it captures the essence of the island. Three signature experiences inspired by the mountains, waterfalls and tropical flora of Mauritius have been crafted by Guerlain, exclusively for One&Only Le Saint Géran.
"The new spa is just dreamy. There's a stunning outdoor pool which stretches towards the ocean, and the perfume scents were incredible."
A Fully Renewed Beach
Another major refurbishment to this stunning property been the restoration of its beachfront, which is now fully replenished and extends for an impressive two kilometres. This revitalised and refreshed shoreline is a major attraction for returning guests, who can now enjoy the same idyllic beach experience that the resort was once famous for.
Added Activities
The renovation of the resort is all about enhancing the One&Only Le Saint Géran experience. Part of this means providing even more immersive and entertaining activities to take part in.
AC Milan Junior Camp
From 24 December 2024, the AC Milan Junior Camp returns to offer young football enthusiasts an exciting holiday experience. Running for a limited time, and reserved exclusively for little ones aged 5 to 17, the AC Milan Junior Camp hosts daily and weekly training sessions that draw on the methodology of this legendary club. Those who take part will even receive a personalised official AC Milan academy kit.
Art at Villa NEO
Villa NEO is another new space at the resort, dedicated to being a creative haven set beside the Boathouse. Each week, up to ten guests can join the hosted art classes and explore their creativity, welcoming novices, experts and everyone in between. These include the Painting Atelier classes where guests can awaken their inner artist under the guidance of South African painter Bret Buckley, and hands-on Pottery classes where you can craft some beautifully unique pieces.
You can also explore the island's culture with dance classes such as Sega Dance Groove, where you'll learn a vibrant dance that is rich in history, spirit and rhythm.
