During your stay in Perth, you will spend one day exploring Rottnest Island with an expert guide, seeing the beaches and sweeping views – even joining a Quokka walk! Have breakfast against the backdrop of sunrise on the sweeping Nullarbor Plain and desert landscape as you head towards your stop in Kalgoorlie, Australia’s largest outback town. Choose an Off Train Experience to discover its gold rush heritage and the modern Super Pit mine. After an afternoon at leisure on board, arrive in Cook. Return to the train for lunch and admire the vistas before your final dinner on board – the perfect time to relive the wonderful memories of your journey across Australia by train.

Your final day begins in the beautiful Blue Mountains, where the extraordinary landscape plays host to a variety of unforgettable Off Train Experiences. Your journey ends on the chartered New South Wales rail service accompanied by your Indian Pacific crew, taking you into Sydney Central Station. For anyone who prefers an earlier arrival, it is possible to stay on board the Indian Pacific without visiting the Blue Mountains and arrive in Sydney before lunch.

On day 9, you will make your way to Circular Quay for a shared Sydney Harbour lunch cruise. See Sydney’s highlights of world-famous icons from the glistening water, past harbourside mansions and some of Sydney's best beachside restaurants. Your first stop will be Doyles on the beach, Watsons Bay for your starter, then onto Balmoral Beach for your main course at Public Dining Room. The next two days are at leisure to explore the city at your own pace - wander through the historic Rocks area, stroll the Bondi to Coogie coastal walk or browse the boutiques and flagship stores at Sydney's shopping malls.
