Beach Life in Dubai with Elegant Resorts
One of Dubai’s most enduring and popular assets, not least because of its almost endless sunny weather, is Jumeirah Beach – a lengthy, wide swathe of soft white sand lapped by the aquamarine waters of the Arabian Gulf upon which a selection of our featured luxury hotels and resorts reside, including the iconic Burj Al Arab, The Ritz-Carlton Dubai and One&Only Royal Mirage. Many boast sophisticated beach clubs that allow for a more exclusive sunbathing experience and offer beach butler service and facilities such as huge four-poster daybeds, along with gourmet cuisine and refreshing drinks served throughout the day and into the evening. Most tend to enjoy a relaxed ambience by day and a party atmosphere by night, with a host of international DJs lining up to provide an eclectic playlist of current tracks and club classics after sunset (similar facilities, along with Aquaventure Waterpark and The Lost Chambers Aquarium, can be found on beach-fringed Palm Jumeirah). The aptly named Kite Beach, meanwhile, is the place to go for adrenaline-pumping water-based activities such as windsurfing and kite-surfing. Head along in the afternoon when the wind has picked up to see a colourful spectacle of sails and boards fizzing above the water, enjoy the outdoor gym or rent some equipment and have a go yourself.
