Luxury Holidays At Hotel Fasano, Sao Paulo
In 1900, the Fasano family arrived in Sao Paulo from Milan, Italy and opened a well-received brasserie serving traditional Italian cuisine. More than a century later, Fasano’s grandchildren have propelled the family into the luxury hotel business – and luxurious it is. The Art Deco-style English brick façade leads into a decidedly handsome interior, designed by Philippe Starck, with public spaces emitting a subdued, yet effortlessly glamorous 1930s glow, most resplendent in the tan leather Art Deco-style chairs which feature throughout, underscored by contemporary refinements.
Guest rooms and suites are undeniably masculine - crisp, clean and unfussy - polished hardwood parquet floors and dark wooden features complementing the refined leather armchairs, finest Egyptian cotton bedding and white marble luxury bathrooms. Twenty-one floors up, there is a health centre with an indoor heated swimming pool - along with a divine spa and fitness facilities - featuring fabulous views overlooking the leafy Jardins neighbourhood below, one of the most fashionable and beautiful districts in the city of Sao Paulo.
