Casa Gangotena is a gorgeous, stylish boutique hotel housed within a restored historic mansion overlooking Plaza San Francisco in the historic heart of Quito. It is thought to be built on a site where an Inca temple once stood and in more recent history, it belonged to the Gangotena family, who were one of Quito’s most wealthy and influential families.
