Luxury Holidays At Babylonstoren

Beautiful Babylonstoren is one of South Africa’s oldest properties, dating back to 1692. Today, the mix of old and new creates a contemporary style, with impeccable standards of modern hospitality and a charming, farm-style, boutique. Located in South Africa’s beloved Cape Winelands, Babylonstoren boasts 200 hectares of working farm to explore and a formal garden of eight acres at the very heart of this exceptional hotel. The stylish, spacious accommodation combines rustic chic with sophisticated Dutch simplicity, the ideal setting to relax and unwind after a day’s exploring the area or embracing a range of activities - such as wine tasting, fly fishing and bread baking classes!

The impressive garden produces splendid pickings, of which guests will dine on the fresh flavours, grown and gathered on-site, and experience a delicious range of deli-style, 'farm-to-fork' dining that reflects Babylonstoren’s wholesome living philosophy. With its location renowned for its wine, and the Paarl and Franschhoek wineries within easy reach, Babylonstoren showcases a sought-after collection of signature wines, produced by the hotel’s own cellarmaster. Nestled within a forest of bamboo, the Garden Spa offers natural treatments that are linked to the ever-changing seasons of this incredible destination.
