Day 2 Accommodation

Valletta

Today, a private tour of Malta’s capital introduces you to the treasures of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit St John’s Co-Cathedral, home to Caravaggio’s famous painting, “The Beheading of St John the Baptist”. Day 3 Accommodation

Valletta/Gozo

A short ferry ride brings you to Gozo, Malta’s quieter, more rural neighbour. Your full-day tour explores the island’s ancient attractions, including the Ggantija Prehistoric Temples and the Citadel of Victoria, as well as its natural wonders such as the famous Inland Sea at Dwerja. A lunch stop at a traditional seaside restaurant offers the chance to sample delicious Gozitan cuisine.

Day 4 Accommodation

Valletta/Mdina

Your day begins at the prehistoric temple of Hagar Qim, a UNESCO World Heritage Site dating back to 3,200 B.C. After exploring this spectacular hilltop site, discover the Blue Grotto in the Żurrieq Valley on a traditional boat trip. The Great Hypogeum is the last stop on your tour, its network of chambers and burial spaces offering a hauntingly beautiful glimpse into prehistoric island life. In between touring, visit a family-run vineyard for a tour and wine-tasting. In the evening, tour Malta’s old capital city, medieval Mdina.

Day 5

Valletta

Experience Malta’s creative traditions firsthand during a private ceramic painting class in an artisan’s studio. Learn about traditional Maltese pottery techniques, create your own work of art to take home, and see local artists’ pieces. In the afternoon, a private transfer takes you to the airport for your flight home.
