Day 1 to 4 Accommodation

Toronto and Niagara Falls

Canada’s largest city is a great place to start your trip, boasting a glorious location on the banks of Lake Ontario. You’re perfectly placed to discover its many attractions from your base at Fairmont Royal York, a timeless landmark hotel in the city’s downtown area. On day three, a private driver-guide will take you on a day trip to Niagara Falls, complete with lunch, a wine-tasting experience and an unmissable boat ride to the base of the waterfalls.

Day 5 to 7 Accommodation

Ottawa

Travel in business class aboard VIA Rail’s service from Toronto’s Union Station to Canada’s capital city (journey time approximately 4 hrs 30 mins) before checking in to your luxury hotel boasting stunning views of the city’s impressive neo-Gothic parliament buildings (taxi at own expense). Spend your time exploring this cosmopolitan city, perhaps browsing some of its art galleries, visiting vibrant Byward Market or walking alongside the historic Rideau Canal, which becomes the world’s longest skating rink in the winter!

Day 8 to 10 Accommodation

Quebec City

Spread along the banks of the mighty St. Lawrence River, this is Canada’s most historic city and the only walled city in North America, earning its status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After arriving by train (journey time approx. 5 hrs 30 mins) followed by a taxi to your hotel (at own expense), you’ll have three days to explore the city’s cobbled streets and enjoy its thriving café culture.

Day 11 to 14 Accommodation

Montreal

Arrive at Montreal’s train station (journey time approximately 3 hrs 15 mins) and walk or take a taxi to your historic hotel in the heart of the old town. Overlooked by the parks and forests of Mont Royal, the modern skyscrapers of downtown sit side-by-side with the elegant architecture of Vieux-Montreal. Marvel at an entire underground city as you explore 20 miles of walkways and passages linking the main points of interest beneath the city streets. On day 14, take a private transfer to Montreal Airport for your flight home.
