Day 1 to 4 Accommodation

Explore San Cristóbal de la Casas, a highland town in the southern Mexican state of Chiapas, taking in the stunning red-tiled-roof houses and narrow winding streets. Then head to San Juan Chamula, to visit the church where the blending of pre-Hispanic traditions and Catholicism is evident in its rituals, continuing onto San Lorenzo Zinacantán, a town known for its traditional textiles and majority indigenous population.

Day 6 to 8 Accommodation

Palenque, Mexico

The mighty Maya temples of Palenque are deservedly one of the top destinations of Chiapas and one of the best examples of Maya architecture in all of Mexico. Learn about the inscriptions found there that narrate 180 years of the city’s history and climb the temples to savour impressive vistas over the lush jungle all around, before heading to the Misol Há waterfall.

Tour the city with a local guide, visiting traditional Cantinas and indulging in a private tour of Celestún, a sun-scorched fishing village, home to 2,000 pink flamingos.

Day 11 to 15 Accommodation

Riviera Maya, Mexico

Take advantage of the many activities in Riviera Maya, a stretch of Caribbean coastline on Mexico’s northeastern Yucatán Peninsula, such as snorkelling in Cenotes (sinkholes), touring the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve and visiting two of the most famous Mayan ruins sites, the walled Mayan fortress of Tulum and the ancient Mayan city of Coba.
