Day 1 Accommodation

Kigali

Arrive in Rwanda’s capital city and meet your transfer to the boutique hotel, The Retreat by Heaven. Unwind after your flight with an included massage and participate in one of the hotel’s immersive cultural activities.

Day 2 to 3 Accommodation

Akagera National Park

Enjoy an introduction to Kigali on a full-day tour before travelling to Magashi Camp in Akagera National Park, a private concession with hippos, lions, black rhinos and leopards. Wildlife numbers have increased significantly in Akagera over the past few decades as a result of anti-poaching measures and reintroducing species. Today, the park stands as Africa's biggest wetland. Spend your time here searching for wildlife on game drives, boat trips and nature walks.

Day 4 to 6 Accommodation

Nyungwe Forest National Park

Arrive at One&Only Nyungwe House, surrounded by mist-shrouded tea fields and an ancient rainforest. Take your pick from a selection of memorable activities both at the hotel and around it, including looking for chimpanzees in their natural habitat, birdwatching and exploring the nearby tea plantations.

Day 7 to 11 Accommodation

Volcanoes National Park

Staying at luxury lodge, Singita Kwitonda, your spacious suite with a private plunge pool is a sumptuous base for your time in Volcanoes National Park. Head out on a once-in-a-lifetime trek to search for endangered mountain gorillas in the dense cloud forest – a truly breathtaking experience, before relaxing back at the lodge, perhaps taking advantage of your private in-suite massage room to soothe any aching muscles. A hike to spot golden monkeys is also included in your stay, and there’s a choice of activities at the hotel to choose from too. Your Rwandan tour ends as you travel from Volcanoes National Park back to Kigali and to the airport for your flight home.
