A short flight to the tropical paradise of Ishigaki allows you to spend your last few days unwinding, surrounded by white sand beaches and crystal-clear turquoise waters that hide vast numbers of marine life.

Day 1 to 3 Accommodation

Tokyo

Arrive in Tokyo and meet your transfer to Mandarin Oriental, where you’ll spend three nights. Allow a local guide to introduce you to this vibrant metropolis, visiting some of the city’s famous sites during your time here.

Day 4 to 5 Accommodation

Fuji Hakone National Park

Leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind and travel to one of Japan’s former capitals, Kamakura, for a morning of guided sightseeing. Continue to Fuji Hakone National Park and settle into your luxury ryokan before enjoying a traditional Japanese meal.

Spend day five exploring the national park, taking a ride on the famous Hakone Ropeway with its breathtaking views of Mount Fuji, Lake Ashi and the Owakudani volcanic crater and visiting the Hakone Open Air Museum.

Day 9 to 12 Accommodation

Ishigaki

Transfer to Kansai Airport for a flight to Okinawa, an idyllic island chain located halfway between Japan and Taiwan.

Spend the next four nights at Intercontinental Ishigaki Resort soaking up the sea views, relaxing on the beach, indulging yourself in the spa and enjoying delicious cuisine. The area offers some of Japan’s best snorkelling and there’s beautiful scenery and a wealth of traditional culture to discover as well.

Day 13 to 14 Accommodation

Tokyo

This morning, take a transfer to Ishigaki Airport for the flight to Tokyo. The rest of the day is free for any last-minute sightseeing or shopping. On your final day, a private transfer will take you to the airport in time for your international flight back to the UK.
