Next, discover the culinary delights of the city with a local food specialist, sampling a variety of Javanese delicacies. The next day, visit the traditional Bugisan Village and explore via ox-cart, before heading to the UNESCO temple compound of Prambanan, visiting the theatre for an incredible Ramayana ballet performance.

Day 8 to 12 Accommodation

Sayan, Bali

Discover the natural and cultural delights of beautiful Bali. Meet a local Brahman (a member of the caste of priests) and his family at their home, learning traditional wood carving, helping to prepare Balinese dishes and receiving a purifying Hindu blessing. Discover the natural beauty of Central Bali with a cycle from Mount Batur through the countryside, passing villages, temples and rice paddies. Explore Ubud on foot, gently rambling across the Tukad Wos river valley, the Gungung Lebah Temple and the Camphuan Ridge.
