Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris is the first luxury hotel in Europe with three Michelin-starred restaurants.

As Audrey Hepburn's Sabrina famously stated, "Paris is always a good idea".

Whether you're seeking a weighty cultural escape in the 'City of Lights' or radiant romance in the city so enamoured with l'amour, Paris' perennial je ne sais quoi is always alluring. Of course, those passionate Parisian's have mastered many arts, including architecture and literature, but food remains their true love. Paris is known for its fine cuisine and simple pleasures, such as fresh bread and cheese, but it can be overwhelming trying to find the perfect French fare when faced with le grand choix of elegant eateries across the charming city.
Fortunately, we've uncovered a microcosm of gourmet Gallic cuisine in one ultra-luxurious setting. Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris is located just moments from the Champs-Elysées, in the heart of the glorious Golden Triangle. The hotel is, itself, something of a landmark, built in 1928 and named in honour of the King of England during World War One as a mark of gratitude for supporting France during that most turbulent time. With interiors paying homage to Louis XVI and daily floral displays, Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris delivers the decadence and drama one demands of Paris. Furthermore, it is a record-breaking, Michelin Star super-hub.
Following the announcement of the 2017 Michelin Guide, the restaurants, Le Cinq, Le George and L'Orangerie at the Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris have collectively been crowned with a total of five Michelin Stars. This acclaimed destination is the first luxury hotel in Europe to boast five across three restaurants, making it the definitive destination du jour for a taste of Paris at its most luxurious.
Michelin Dining
A galaxy of Michelin-starred gastronomic feats of astronomic proportions. Trés bien!
Showcasing the cuisine of three chefs, each with their own individual identities, diverse talents and distinctive styles, Four Seasons Hotel George V offers guests an unprecedented culinary experience under one, elaborately ordained, roof and is now, indisputably, the leading gourmet address of the french capital.

Le Cinq ***

Boasting beautiful views of the hotel's courtyard, the three-Michelin-star Le Cinq is an exquisite dining room, dressed in regal grey and gold. Each individual aspect of this lauded restaurant has been masterfully designed to create a sense of luxury. The tablecloths, fine china and silverware are entirely unique to Le Cinq. The food showcases classic French culinary techniques, but Chef Christian Le Squer expertly incorporates newer, lighter cooking styles and uses only the freshest regional ingredients. A children's menu is available on request.

Le George *

Don't be fooled by the seeming simplicity of this chic setting, Le George is every bit as grand as its neighbours. Chef Simone Zanoni offers light and modern, Mediterranean-style cuisine designed for sharing, with many dishes available in half portions and a balanced, healthy cuisine bursting with flavour and freshness. The room itself has a distinctly Parisian vibe, as interior designer, Pierre-Yves Rochon infuses the setting with a timeless elegance and contemporary cool. If you can tear your eyes from the perfection on your plate, be sure to look upwards at the stunning vaulted ceiling and out towards the marble courtyard for a sense of exquisite Parisian excellence.

L'Orangerie *

Glass and steel provide a dramatic backdrop, but the ambience at L'Orangerie restaurant is one of intimacy and delicate delights. Overlooking the famous marble courtyard, L'Orangerie is a treat for all five senses. Chef David Bizet's menu is an ode to the contemporary values of French cooking, elegance, refinement, femininity and respect for nature. You'll enjoy expertly prepared cuisine that looks as beautiful as it tastes - art on a plate, L' Orangerie has become a favourite with locals and guests alike and continues to go from strength-to-strength.

La Galerie

The heart and soul of the hotel, La Galerie lounge in Paris showcases beautiful Flemish tapestries, 19th century paintings and furniture, as well as many exquisite objets d'art. The atmosphere is of elegance and genuine peace, highlighted by the pianist, who plays every day from 3pm. This is the best spot for people-watching, intimate conversation and light fare. In summer, La Galerie serves lunch, cocktails and dinner in the courtyard from 12.30pm to 10pm every day.

At just three months old I began a lifelong love affair with travel. Since that first holiday to Barbados, I've since visited over 50 countries. My favourite travel memories are an incredible safari in Botswana and sipping Champagne at the top of the Eiffel Tower.
