Six Senses Ninh Van Bay is committed to improving the ecological and carbon footprint of their resort and spa operations by monitoring their performance against targets and goals. In 2022, they collected over 611 kg of trash from local beaches, provided access to clean drinking water to 2,504 local people, and gave away 300 reusable water bottles to students. The resort also introduced Ninh Van Greens, the first in-resort solar farm in Vietnam, which helps to provide electricity, organic produce, and hot water for the resort. The organic garden, Solar FreshCuts, is planted beneath the 800 solar panels. As of January 2023, Ninh Van Greens generated more than 227 kWh of electricity and supplied 20 percent of the resort’s energy supply.

With regards to Environmental Sustainability the resort operates in line with the Sustainable Operational Guidelines set out by Six Senses and wherever possible go beyond Vietnamese and international environmental requirements. When it comes to Social Responsibility the resort is working on drinking water projects to educational programs and employment, and maintaining positive relationships with the greater community.

Luxury Beach

The beach is beautiful and serene, as you would expect from a Vietnamese location, making it the perfect location to rest, recuperate and relax. For those feeling a little more energetic, there is complementary kayaking to enjoy and snorkelling equipment provided around the bay.

Six Senses Spa at Ninh Van Bay is a sanctuary for all the senses. Traditional Vietnamese and Six Senses signature treatments, customized Yogic wellness programs are available to suit individual guest needs. The Vooc Village offers heaps of daily activities for younger guests - whether they are a fan of sports or all things crafty - including cookie and mocktail-making, statue painting, origami, sandcastle building, dancing contests, beach football, mini snorkelling and glass-bottom boat adventures. Sunset cruises and private barbecue dinners make for perfect romantic indulgence. Alternatively, couples can treat themselves to a romantic day of Ninh Van Bay exploration and Vietnamese excursions, followed by a pampering flower bath for two at the resort's impressive spa.

Scuba Diving

The PADI scuba-diving team escorts guests on boat trips to fifteen dive sites, the majority being coral reefs ranging between twelve and sixteen metres deep. The average annual water temperature is 26-30°C, making for an incredibly pleasant diving experience. However, due to poor visibility between the months of October and December, diving trips are often suspended.
