Upon arrival in Sri Lanka you will be met by an airport representative who will escort you through immigration. This morning after a good breakfast, start the drive to the North Central part of the island. Check in to Ulagalla, an Anuradhapura hotel with a touch of traditional elegance and aristocracy. Explore this ancient region by twilight and discover the surrounding area on a four wheel drive journey in search of culture, natural and historic highs.

Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site, Sigiriya Rock Fortress. The first part of the visit is a leisurely walk through the pleasure gardens. Then begin to climb, there are two areas to take a break on the way up and enjoy the stunning views.

Head to the great outdoors of Yala National Park. Yala National Park consists of dry-mixed evergreen forests and scrublands along with open grasslands, water holes, brackish water lagoons and riverine forests. This park's diverse habitat supports large numbers of mammals, such as spotted, barking and mouse deer, wild boar, water buffalo and the endangered sloth bear. This is also one of the best places in the country to see wild elephant, and the rare Sri Lankan Leopard, having one of the highest Leopard densities in the world.
